Dear Neighbor,

This is Art Staed, your new State Representative when the Iowa Legislature convenes January 14th, 2013 at the Iowa State Capitol. I’m excited to serve you and look forward to a productive session.

My top priorities are to listen to you, represent you, and get your thoughts and ideas before the Legislature. I will continue to be available so that you can share your views with me. Thousands of you, voters in District 66, shared your suggestions and issues as I visited with you at your doors. I’m taking that list to the Legislature so that your voices will be heard.

Contact information is listed just to the left. You can reach me via email, Facebook, regular mail, or phone. Although I will be in Des Moines during the week, I will be home on weekends participating in a variety of public forums, coffees, and other events. Information will be posted in my newsletters and on my website.

Each week I will update you on issues at the Statehouse and I welcome your responses. To make things easier, you may reply to these newsletter emails at anytime. If you DO NOT wish to receive a newsletter every week, click on the link at the bottom of this email and you will be removed from the list immediately.

I’ve created a short on-line survey to get your feedback on some of the issues that may come up this year. I hope you will take a few minutes to complete some or all of the survey here so that I can better represent your views.
